This is the scary part of giving up control: story here. What do you think? Are you comfortable automatically backing up your computers hard drive to a service over the internet? Would you prefer backing up your machine to a second hard drive you own? If so, do you actually do it?

Bottom line: nothing is foolproof. Fire can destroy locally stored back-ups. And technical problems or human mistakes can result in the loss of data stored in the cloud. Both issues are rare enough. And doing nothing is the most dangerous of all. So, whatever method gets you to actually back-up your data… do that.
